WHAT'S ON MY PANTRY AS A VEGAN

As a vegan and a health blogger, I get asked a lot what are the things that I always keep in my pantry. A lot of people get scared of trying a vegan diet thinking that it is hard to find vegan products and cook. The truth is I thought the same thing when I started but as I kept looking and reading I found out that it is really not that hard.

There are lots and lots of things that we can still buy and eat, so I want to share with you my extensive grocery list. Because I love cooking and I rather have everything made at home (pasta sauces, mayo, ketchup, bbq sauce, etc) I always keep my list in my kitchen so that way if I’m running out or I run out of something I check it and when its grocery time I know what I need.

I like to go for fresh, seasonal, and organic on everything. Since I know organic can be expensive, I recommend if you are going to buy non-organic fruits go for the hard shell/skin ones, those are more difficult for all the pesticides to get in unlike soft fruits pesticides get inside more easily. Just make sure to always wash your fruits, vegetables, and herbs at your home.
