Stir Fry Sauce

Yield: About 1 cup Prep: 4 minutes Cook: 10 min Total: 14 minutes Level: Easy.



  • 2 cups vegetable broth

  • 1/2 cup coconut aminos

  • 1/4 cup of coconut sugar

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 3 tbsp arrowroot powder

  • 3 tbsp warm water

  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper

  • 1 tsp ginger, grated


  • In a medium saucepan add all the liquid ingredients, except for the water, and bring to a soft boil.

  • On a small bowl, whisk together the arrowroot and the water.

  • Add the arrowroot mixture to the sauce on the stove and stir until the sauce thickens.

  • Reduce the heat to simmer and simmer until the sauce is reduced and thick.

  • Now you can add your stir fry, veggies, or whatever you want to use the sauce for.

  • Enjoy.

Note: As the sauce gets cool, it will thicken considerably, try to use it at the moment or warm down to lose it a little and use as desired.
